EE is the largest and most advanced digital communications company in Britain, delivering mobile and fixed communications services to consumers, businesses, government and the wholesale market. They serve more than 30 million customers across its mobile, fixed and wholesale businesses and run the UK's biggest, fastest and most reliable mobile network, pioneering the UK's first superfast 4G mobile service in October 2012.
EE wanted to create new and engaging modules to re-launch their compliance eLearning. As a large corporate, EE have to comply with ensuring their employees are aware of policy and procedure on a variety of subjects ranging from IT security to Bribery and Corruption, or be subject to legal action. Ensuring users take the modules and ensuring the percentage completion stats are met is pivotal, so making the modules engaging to a user was paramount.
We built various compliance modules with the stakeholders at EE, creating an engaging series format, using a creative series of playful characters that helped to bring the subject material to life. We had to ensure the modules met accessibility ratings and offered both audio and text components with question-based compliance pass marks. It was imperative that EE only had one report for both variants of the content so the module was built with various decision branches to allow for user flexibility and access across multiple devices.
