Creating a responsive experience for L&G leaders

the client:

Legal & General are one of the world’s largest insurance and investment management companies providing life insurance, general insurance, pensions and investments. The company has 7000+ employees and 10 million+ customers worldwide.


the brief:

Legal & General needed an eLearning module to cover their leader induction content. This was originally split across varying formats so the need arose for L&G to compile this into a complete and easy-to-follow course. The users accessing the course would be new to leader roles and so the content was intended to act as a springboard for new leader positions. 


the solution:

The Legal & General 'Leader Induction' module was built in Adapt, offering a responsive and flexible base. The content covers the L&G culture and the next steps for new leaders to the company. The six module sections include all the content which a new starter to a Leadership role will need. This includes a company culture outline and a section explaining what is expected of an L&G leader. The 'First 90 days' section lets users know what to expect in the first 3 months of their leadership journey and any key milestones involved. A 'Calendar of Events' also allows users to track important milestones in the L&G annual timeline to prepare themselves for their new role.

The responsive nature of the module allows users to access and complete the content in any place and at any time. We utilised Adapt's best features to include accordion, carousel, question and hotspot interactions as well as the inclusion of downloadable ‘hard copy’ content and embedded media. Each section accessed from the main menu is colour-coded within a custom theme to create a clear user journey.
